  • 1. How much will it cost? +
  • Our services can provide peace of mind for as little as a cost of a dinner for 4 up to providing care 24 hours per day. We accept ACH payments, credit card, Aide and Attendance for Veterans, Long Term Care Insurance and others.

  • 2. How will I get updates? +
  • We will be contacting you every week, at a convenient time for you, with an update regarding your Loved One. If you would prefer more frequent updates we can provide those, as well. Just let us know if you prefer your updates via telephone call or email.

  • 3. How many days per week can I schedule?+
  • We try to work around what works best for you and your Loved One as much as possible. You can choose from an in-person visit, a telephone check-in, or a virtual visit. We offer as many check-ins as you like. Our in-person services are provided from 4 to 24 hours per day. Our specialist will contact you to determine which one fits best for your Loved One.

  • 4. What if my Loved One doesn't get along with the Double Checker? Can we choose another?+
  • We place a lot of time and care into selecting our caregivers and have tools to determine the best match, including references and personal interactions with each employee. From time to time, the caregiver is not a good match. In that instance, we like to gather as many details as possible to determine the particular challenges. Once that's done, we can make a change. Our goal is to always have just the right fit. Sometimes it can take a few days for the client and caregiver to develop a bond. This is especially true if the individual has not had outside care before.

  • 5. Can you update my Loved One's doctor?+
  • Yes, our caregivers are trained to work under the order of your Loved One's medical providers. We can establish a relationship with them and aid them in the transfer of all information, including arranged virtual tele-health check-ins.

    • What's their favorite meal, TV show, news channel?
    • What's a daily ritual they engage in: a hobby, activity, exercise?
    • Is there a pet?
    • Are there other must-haves?
    • Are there things that should absolutely be avoided?
    • Best time to call you to fill you in on what's going on?
